Event short description
Discover umami flavors of hand-rolled Urumaki paired with Miso Soup. Learn the proper way of seasoning sushi rice, basic knife skills technique to cut vegetables & protein, and easy-to-do homemade spicy mayo to complement every sushi element.

How it works
Kits will be shipped by our team for hassle-free experience. Guests to cook the rice before the event. Dehydrated shiitake mushroom is provided as sushi roll filling. Guests may buy additional ingredients ex: cucumber or salmon. A shopping list will be provided. Vegetable preparation will be demoed during the class.

Our founder, Aimee Moslares-Aguirre opened our cooking studio in New York City to host team-building cooking classes. One week after our launch, we had to shut down due to the pandemic. Boo! At that time, all events are going virtual but we want to make a difference. We started curating our kits first, launching DIY kits. We made it convenient to try unique experiences with materials shipped to their doorsteps. When we saw how it was well-received, we launched our virtual classes with kits delivered globally.
