Event short description

We take two things: Food and Fun and mix them together to create a dish from scratch, created by you! You will be given step-by-step instructions mixed with some of your own creative touches to prep a healthy dish that you will share with your fellow students after the class and easily remake at home for your friends and family. Sake is on the house!!

How it works
Making sushi is one of the highest arts found in Japanese cuisine. Learn how to choose fresh ingredients, prepare the components and roll the perfect roll with Chef Ivan.
Begin the class with a light and flavorful miso soup with seaweed, radish, tofu and scallions. Next, comes an assortment of sushi: Spicy Tuna Roll with avocado, California Roll with crab, cucumber and mayonnaise, and an Alaskan Roll with smoked salmon, surimi, avocado and cucumber. Finish on a sweet note with matcha ice cream.

Each guest will need to supply the items below to participate fully in this event.
- Plan on wearing an outfit you feel comfortable cooking in or an apron to protect your clothes

Whether you are an amateur cook, food enthusiast or a full-blown smallholder, there's a course to inspire you. We provide cooking lessons to accommodate all group levels. Lessons are conducted on a one-on-one basis or in a group environment. This is an informal setting where you get to unleash, learn, share, socialize and simply have fun in a stress free environment. At the end of the session, each client will leave with a better understanding about food, cooking techniques, knife skills and other kitchen tips.
