Event short description

Frida Khalo is one of the most famous Mexican painters. Frida married Diego Rivera both known for their use of bright colors in their paintings. They lived in La Casa Azul (The Blue House) in Coyoacan, which had a beautiful garden with a profusion of carefully curated flowers.

Frida would pick some of those flowers to accent her traditional Tehuana hairdos and dresses. Flower crowns are symbolic in Mexican culture, portraying the beauty of the country’s biodiversity and honoring its ancient indigenous culture. The Frida Kahlo look is an enduring symbol of Mexican heritage, feminine energy, and our cosmic connection to nature and that which grows in it.

This is a beginner-friendly experience. You will receive your Party in a Box containing all the needed materials to complete your Frida Khalo Flower Crown Mexican Headpiece. Your host will guide you through all the steps leading you to find your own creativity as you complete the piece.
