How it works

The event starts with a Matcha tea Ceremony - our Host will teach you how t make Matcha Tea the traditional way. While you sip your tea, watch a short presentation about Hokusai and his life. Then our professional artist will teach you how to paint the famous Kanagawa Wave, a Hokusai original while the Host will do a fun trivia and facts about Hokusai.

Kit contents

Each guest of the event will receive these items in a shipment to their address.

This event includes 3 shipments:

  • Matcha toolset with a whisk (Chasen), traditional scoop (Chashaku), and tea sifter
  • Ceremonial grade Matcha tea powder

Shipping & delivery

This event includes a shipment to each guest's address. You'll have to provide addresses 14 days prior to the event to allow for shipping and delivery.

Shipping policy or exclusions

For all package options, we will ship a premium art kit with all the supplies you need (paint, brushes, canvas, etc.). The listing price includes U.S. shipping within the lower 48 states. International orders can only receive the art kit, and will cost an estimated additional $12-60 dollars in shipping per kit, depending on the country. Please leave at least 14 - 21 days lead time to ship international kits. For all options with alcohol: Due to state laws, we cannot ship alcohol to Alabama, Delaware, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Utah, or South Dakota. Guests in those states (and anyone who needs a non-alcoholic option) will receive a dry kit with artisan mocktail/cocktail mixers (BYOB). Alaska and Hawaii will be an extra $10 in shipping per kit, because alcohol cannot be shipped via ground. All alcohol deliveries will require an adult signature as per state laws.

International shipping is available but is not included in the price and will incur additional costs
