How it works
Our in-person events are fully hosted puzzle hunts, in which teams use their collective brainpower to solve clues. Each team is presented with an identical set of puzzles, which teams must solve in order to find a piece of information.
Clues can involve brain teasers, wordplay, logic, trivia, or simple code-breaking. Each clue leads to a location within walking distance of the start point, where players must find and use a vital piece of information embedded in the environment to answer a question. Clues can be solved in any order (so teams don't necessarily follow each other around), and the team that arrives at the end point first with the greatest number of correct clues is declared the winner.
We provide everything players need to play and take photos of your teams in the field. Smartphones can be used to look up information, but puzzles are of the old school pencil and paper variety. NOTE: We accept groups as small as four players, but any group of 12 or fewer will be charged at the same rate as a group of 12.

- A Sense of Adventure
Since 2008, Mastermind Treasure Hunts has created events that are fun, challenging, and build a shared sense of excitement that’s hard to beat. Our city-based adventures feel like a cross between The Amazing Race and National Treasure. By solving a series brainy puzzles, teams find their way from parks, to landmarks, to often-overlooked spots, racing to see who will be the first to solve the clues, find secret locations, and win the day!
