Keith Haring was a street artist and activist, who used characters and symbols to tell stories about his life and the world around him. Learn about Keith Haring’s iconic work and the 1980s New York street art scene that gave rise to it. Then use acrylic paint and paint markers on canvas to create your own artworks in Haring’s signature style, integrating symbols and motifs that are meaningful in your own life and the world today.

How it works

Each ArtsClub event has a certified art history instructor to teach the lesson on your group's chosen artist as well as a studio art instructor to assist with the art-making portion. The events last two hours and all art supplies are included. We also offer many different catering options including wine & cheese, assorted beverages, appetizers, dinner and dessert for an additional cost! All participants get to take home their completed artwork. Events can be held at our East Village Studio & Gallery, at your office or at one of our rooftop partners.

Each guest will need to supply the items below to participate fully in this event.

  • Smocks will be provided but we recommend wearing clothes you won't mind getting dirty, just in case!
