Step into the creative world of clay art! Our instructors will guide you through the process, from preparing and shaping your clay to adding unique details and finishing touches. You'll have the opportunity to experiment with different textures, shapes, and designs while creating a one-of-a-kind piece. Whether you're a beginner or experienced crafter, this workshop offers a fun and hands-on way to create a functional and beautiful clay tray or decorative piece that you can enjoy at home. Projects will need to dry/cure after the workshop before they are ready for final use.

Workshop Overview-

Objective: Guide participants in a step-by-step clay art creation experience.

Pre-Workshop (5-10 minutes before start):

Facilitator & Team Join: Log in early, confirm equipment and materials are set up.

Introduction (5-10 minutes):

Welcome & Agenda: Introduce yourself, outline the workshop, and share the project's steps.
Engagement: Icebreaker question about participants' favorite types of art or what they plan to create.

Step-by-Step Instruction (40-60 minutes):

Demonstrate Each Step with Detailed Explanation: Provide detailed guidance on preparing, shaping, and designing the clay, including how to create the desired shape and add decorative details.
Clay Demonstration and Decorating: Demonstrate different techniques for shaping, texturing, and decorating the clay.
Engagement Break (5 minutes): Check in with participants and answer questions as they work.
Fun Fact or Q&A: Share a fun clay/art fact, hold a mini Q&A, or engage with participants about their progress.

Final Steps & Tips (5-10 minutes):

Finishing Touches: Give guidance on smoothing edges, adding final details, and caring for the finished piece. Engage the virtual room in a show and tell of their creations.

Collect Addresses

Use Elevent's system to collect the addresses and any other information needed for the event. Or collect on your own and upload in the portal.

Up to 14 days prior to the event for free domestic shipping.

Kits Shipped

Guests receive all of their shipments directly to each address provided. See Shipping Policy or Exclusions for details.

Every guest will receive tracking notification emails with when to expect their kit. You will receive email digests of all guest shipment statuses and be able to access all guest tracking and statuses in your event portal.
