Absolutely! Each team will get a unique code for the Watson Adventures app, so you and your teammates can all play along together. And with the video conferencing app the host can send your team into a “breakout room” where you can see, speak with, and collaborate with your teammates in private.

What does my group need to prepare for this experience?

For the best experience, we recommend using a desktop computer for the video conferencing program. We take precautions to keep the game safe and secure, and stress that you should not share the link with anyone not on your team. You’ll also use our browser-based app to play the game, which we will recommend you use either on your desktop or on a phone or tablet, depending on the particular game. (We’ll tell you which is best in a pre-game email.) At the start of the game we will give you the web address for the app and a code to access the game.

How it works

On this team-building odyssey, you’ll meet with our host on Zoom (or your preferred conferencing platform), load our app in any browser, then head into breakout rooms to follow a trail of clues across the internet. You’ll need to tackle tricky trivia questions, whose answers help you explore fascinating interactive websites. Then you’ll have to answer challenging questions about what you uncover.

Virtual tour highlights will include places like the Computer History Museum in California, the American Museum of Natural History, the 3DXM Math Museum, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, The Smithsonian, the Perot Museum of Nature, and Science, plus the Tech Interactive in San Jose.
