Does this event work well for a large group of people (40-997 people)?

Absolutely! Our event format ensures that everyone is engaged in the main room, is able to comfortably connect with small teams in breakout rooms, and has a blast throughout!

Do you offer discounts for larger events?

If your projected attendance is over 40, it would be our pleasure! Simply click the "Ask A Question" button on the right side of the screen, let us know how many people you estimate will attend, and we’ll gladly send you a custom quote.

Does this event work well with a group that’s smaller than the minimum attendance you have listed?

You can definitely enjoy this soiree with less than the minimum attendance listed! You could actually enjoy it with as few as 2 folks if you’d like. The one thing to keep in mind is that you would just need to pay for the minimum (as this is the lowest amount we can charge to cover the costs of leading the soiree). But smaller groups like this are oftentimes extra fun & engaging!

After I book, can I ask to increase or decrease the estimated attendance?

100%! As long as you message us at least 12 hours before your event start time, we will gladly add or subtract the requested amount. If you want to increase the expected headcount, you will receive an invoice adjustment to easily pay for the extra people. If you want to decrease the expected headcount, you would see a refund show up within 5-7 business days.

I’m not positive how many people will play. Is it OK if more/less people show up than what I project?

Absolutely! Our simple event format was purposefully designed so that attendance fluctuations don’t affect how we host. Whether 5 people show up or 50, our host will welcome them warmly and make sure they have a blast connecting through fun! *Please note - If the actual attendance goes above the projected attendance, no sweat! You will simply be charged for these extra players after the soiree. If the actual attendance is below the projected attendance, no refunds will be given.

Will you be available on the date/time I have in mind? Even if it’s an unusual time?

We can almost guarantee we will be! We have over 20 friendly and experienced hosts spread out around the world. This large team was assembled to ensure we’re almost always available when you want to have a blast with your group. *Please note - You can see our calendar by clicking the “Make a Reservation” button and then picking a date/time. If you can select the date/time you have in mind, we’re free! You will not be charged by simply checking a date/time in this way.

Would we be able to have our event be on Microsoft Teams, Google Meets, WebEx, etc?

Sure can! While Zoom is our preferred video platform, we can absolutely host this social fun on another platform if desired. *Please note - Zoom is our preferred platform as it provides the most seamless and impressive experience overall. It's also faster and has features that are designed with events in mind (versus meetings). That said, we ABSOLUTELY understand that some organizations highly prefer to use other platforms! If that's the case here, we're definitely able to host your event on other platforms. If you want to go that route, we'd love to lead the soiree on our account so we can easily take care of all the technical functions (sending people to breakout rooms and such). If it's on your account, we may need you to take care of these tech tasks (which is certainly doable!). Please don't take any of this as us trying to pressure you into a decision! We just like to provide intel so you can make the best decision for your amazing group.

Is it OK if players log in late or leave early?

Definitely! Our flexible format makes it easy to ingratiate folks who arrive late and easily roll with people leaving early.

When will the event start/players be let in from the waiting room?

The host will login to start the waiting room 10 minutes before the event start time. They will then let people in from the waiting room at the exact event start time. If you (the event organizer) show up earlier, we’ll gladly let you in roughly 3 mins before the event starts to say hello!

Who do you donate money to when an event is booked?

Donating is our second favorite thing to do (second only to comfortably connecting groups through unique fun)! To ensure we give to a cause you believe in, we’ll gladly ask you which charity you'd like us to donate 3% of our proceeds to!

This event is all about having fun and connecting in a comfortable atmosphere. Therefore, they make the call based on their comfort level!

Will players have to perform or be singled out in front of the entire group?

Nope! Most of the talking they’ll be doing will be in small groups of 3-5 people (while in breakout rooms). If they feel like talking in the main room, great! If not, they can easily chat out their thoughts or stay silent while with everyone. It's up to them!

Can I provide a list of the exact teams we want to be grouped together?

Yes! If you’d like to go the predetermined team route, you would simply need to send us a list of teams at least 8 hours in advance so our host knows how you want to group everyone!

How much time will be spent in the Main Room (with everyone) versus in breakout rooms (on teams)?

Roughly ⅔ of the event is experienced in the main room while ⅓ is enjoyed in breakout rooms.

A breakdown of how the event will go

Happy to provide a rough timeline for a 60 minute event! Beforehand, you can fill out a questionnaire that tells us more about your group & your event preferences. That in mind, everything mentioned below can easily be modified. At the event, your host will continuously read the room to determine the best timeline, games to enjoy and ways to spark engagement. *Please Note - A 45 min event will have two rounds and a 75 min event will likely have four.

PRE-EVENT >> (10 MINS PRECEDING START TIME)

Our host logs in to get ready 10 mins prior to the event start time.
Lets event organizer(s) in from the waiting room to say hi 3 mins early.
Full group is let in from the waiting room & welcomed at the start time!

EVENT STARTS & INTRO >> (8 MINS)

Host gets players to engage (in the chat or out loud) & quickly makes them feel included.
Once a majority of the group is settled, an event overview & simple instructions are given.
If someone on your team wants to make a speech, we'll gladly introduce them!

ROUND ONE >> (20 MINS)

Group plays the 1st game while being sent in and out of breakout rooms to comfortably enjoy working with small teams (of roughly 4 players).
In the main room, host provides simple instructions, hears/reveals answers, awards points for all kinds of fun reasons and keeps the mood energetic & friendly!

ROUND TWO >> (10 MINS)

A completely new type of game is enjoyed! Host reads the room to determine which one to lead and if it would be best to play individually (with everyone in the main room) or on small teams again.

ROUND THREE >> (15 MINS)

The final game is played! Enjoyed on the same teams OR with different team groupings (depends on your preference).

FUN FINALE >> (7 MINS)

Host records players acting out fun prompts for your free highlight reel, announces winners in unique categories and tells the group what charity we'll donate to (based on your choice OR the group decides in realtime through a quick vote).
Lastly, host thanks you (the event organizer) and gives a friendly goodbye!
