TAKE A PICTURE! IT LASTS LONGER This game is multiple-choice, emceed quiz based on the sweet, sassy, surprising photographs submitted by your team.
Over the years of hosting get-to-know-you virtual games, we've noticed that some of the most fun, special moments are when players spontaneously share a photo that goes with their story, either by holding the photo up to their camera or sharing a jpg in the chat. These show-and-tell moments always light everyone up so we thought, ‘Why not do a game that’s ALL photos?’ and Take a Picture! It Lasts Longer was born!

How it works
1 - A week or so before the game, players will be asked to submit their photos to be considered for the quiz. They have until 48 hours before the quiz to get their photos in.
2 - In the two days leading up the event, we’ll create a 20 question, multiple-choice pub-style quiz based on the submitted photos and their backstories. (For larger groups, a longer quiz of 75 or 90 minutes can be arranged. Ask us.)
3 - On event day, we host the quiz using the platform Mentimeter, which keeps score automatically and has lots of fun visual bells and whistles to add to the fun. After each answer is revealed, our host Dennis has a quick follow-up chat with the person who submitted the picture, then it’s onto the next question and photo.
4 - At the end of the quiz, the player who scored the most will be declared the winner!

Do players have to submit photos?
No. They can still take part in the quiz if they don’t submit photos.

What are some examples of questions?
There will be questions tied to specific photos, like Your colleague Kevin K. once sat next to one of his idols on a flight from New York to Miami and got a photo with them. Was it: A - Musician Pitbull B - Author Stephen King C - Actor Matt Damon D - Boxer Muhammad Ali
And there will be some questions about the whole group, like: “This vacation destination came up in more responses than any other place. Was it: A - Hawaii B - Disney World C - Times Square D - Paris for exmaple.
Agenda / Run of show
• We encourage players to submit photos that their teammates most likely haven’t seen before. Think quirky, unexpected, maybe a blast from the past, rather than shots they might have already shared at the office or on social media.
• On our submission form, we provide a number of prompts to inspire people and help them remember photos they may have forgotten about. Players don’t need to submit photos for all the prompts.
• For larger groups of 20 or more, we would only need TWO photos from each player. For groups smaller than 20, we may ask for THREE or FOUR, depending on the amount of players.
• Players can submit more photos than we ask for if they choose to. This will give us more variety to work with when creating the quiz. But to keep the quiz itself fair, we strive to use the same number of photos from each player.
