What set up is required?

Technologically, this class is hosted on a video conferencing platform (Zoom, Teams, etc). The facilitator uses Zoom for events they host, but is willing to use whichever platform works best for you and asks that you provide that link. Physically, folks will need a quiet and comfortable place to sit. Your host will guide the meditation portion of this event as if everyone is seated in a chair, but participants are welcome to sit on a couch, bed, floor, or whatever is most comfortable to them.

Do participants need to have their cameras on?

Participants are welcome to have their cameras on or off. Having your camera on is not required for participation, though some organizations may ask their employee to do so.

How does this program work?

Folks will sign onto the video call and we'll take typically 1-2 minutes for them to join. The facilitator will take time to explain the flow of the event, answer any preliminary questions, and to set the tone. The event will then follow the “run of show” listed above. The event will end 1-2 minutes before the scheduled end time for questions and the facilitator will provide links to additional resources, if needed.

Can this event be recorded?

Yes! If you’d like your event recorded, select the “Event Recording” add-on during booking for an additional fee. If you’ve already booked your event and decide you want it recorded, let the host know and we can send you an additional invoice. The recording fee applies to all events, regardless if the host or customer is doing the recording. Events recorded by your host will be lightly edited, cutting out banter at the beginning and end of events, and the files will be delivered to you within 24-hours of the event’s end time. All recordings are the intellectual property of the host/facilitator, may not be reproduced, and may only be distributed internally within your organization.

Mindful Communication looks into who we are being in our day-to-day interactions, including communication ethics to awareness of individual sensibilities (i.e. - introversion vs. extroversion) to ensure that what we say (and how we think) aligns with our personal core values. The goal of this talk is to give participants a new awareness and new language when it comes to self-accountability about how they communicate in the workplace (and in life). This program is especially great for leaders who are looking for new ways to connect with their direct reports.
