How it works
Led by a credentialed ASL facilitator, this experience blends instruction, cultural insight, and interactive practice into one engaging session. Participants begin with an introduction to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, exploring their history, unique features, and perspectives. From there, they move into hands-on practice, learning the alphabet, key phrases, and signs they can use right away. After the session, each participant receives a take-home handout to support continued learning.
