Question 1

How do you do a virtual cooking class?

Accepted Answer

Virtual cooking classes take place in the comfort of your kitchen. A professional chef will walk all participants through cooking a whole meal from scratch via a virtual platform (such as Zoom) while providing detailed instructions for each step. The host will either send the ingredients to each guest or send a detailed list of ingredients for the guests to bring to the event. At the end of the event, the participants are left with a nice meal, a new recipe, and some new cooking skills. These are truly cooking events but you typically learn a few things along the way!

Question 2

Do I need to bring anything to a virtual cooking event?

Accepted Answer

If you are looking for a virtual cooking class with ingredients delivered, we have you covered. The materials needed will vary depending on the cooking event chosen. In many of our events, some or all of the ingredients will be shipped to each participant, however, some cooking events will provide the ingredient list at the time of booking so that participants have plenty of time to retrieve any ingredients they may need.

Question 3

Can food allergies and specialty diets be accommodated?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Hosts pride themselves on providing a safe and exciting event for all participants. When submitting a participant list the organizer will have the opportunity to indicate which participants may have allergies and restrictions so that the host can provide the best ingredients to each participant.

Question 4

How long do virtual cooking classes last?

Accepted Answer

Typically the virtual cooking classes last between 60 minutes and 2 hours. This time allows for the host to introduce themselves, help the class through each step of the cooking, answer questions, and enough time for the meal to cook. Everyone should feel like they have plenty of time to enjoy themselves at the cooking event.

Question 5

Is virtual cooking class good for team building?

Accepted Answer

Virtual cooking classes are a great way to engage your team outside of work. While experienced chefs teach the group how to cook a new dish, there is plenty of time to socialize among your team. Online cooking classes create a stress-free environment for your team to connect, collaborate, and enjoy making a delicious meal together.

Question 6

Is a virtual cooking class good for groups?

Accepted Answer

A virtual cooking class is good for groups of all sizes. Virtual cooking classes can create lasting memories that your group will talk about for years to come. Each guest wil learn a new skill and enjoy what they have created.
