Virtual Team Bingo

Virtual Team Bingo FAQs

• How does virtual bingo compare to in-person bingo?

Our virtual bingo events are not your grandparents' bingo. Rather than slow, boring bingo games with monotonous numbers being called, our virtual bingo events are lively and entertaining for all participants. The moderators consist of actors, comedians, emcees, and even drag queens. Choose which theme you’d like and get your team together for the most fun you’ve had playing bingo.

• What is needed for virtual bingo games?

One of the great things about online bingo is that aside from booking the event there is practically no preparation required. The bingo host will lead the event and engage the crowd throughout as well as helping everyone create their virtual bingo cards. All that participants need is an internet connection and a device to connect. Most games are hosted through Zoom, but some do use other video conferencing platforms. Each listing has the available video services for each game.

• Is virtual bingo a good team building activity?

Yes, virtual team building bingo is a great team-building activity. With engaging hosts, bingo can be a lot of fun. With some virtual bingo events, the hosts will instruct the participants on how to build and customize their bingo card with things that apply to the participants in real life rather than letters and numbers, allowing team members to get to know each other better leading to building better relationships and enhancing teamwork and communication.  Online team building bingo is a great option for your team.

• How do you play team bingo virtually?

Playing team bingo virtually is a lot like playing in person.  Each person will receive an electronic bingo board and the host will guide the game.  The host will announce each letter/number combination and when a player has completed a row they would announce bingo.  The host will verify the results and congratulate the winner.

• What are some tips to succeed in virtual team bingo?

The biggest thing to do for virtual bingo for teams is to make sure that your technology setup is working.  Before the event, make sure you can open the video conference software, your microphone and camera are working, you have access to the bingo card (if shared beforehand) and you are ready to have a fun time.  Everything else will be taken care of by the host so just sit back and enjoy.

• What is the min group size for online team building bingo?

We recommend having at least a few players but many of our virtual team bingo options can accommodate a group as low as one guest.
